I grew up in the cathedral city of Saint Gall (Switzerland), where I was already guiding visitors around my hometown at a young age. During my 20 years as a customer adviser for a Swiss bank I regularly organised cultural events and expeditions for clients, often guided by myself. As time went by, I more and more felt the urge to turn my passion into a profession – and there had always been this deep, mysterious yearning for the Scottish Highlands. So I opted for a change of both career and scenery and moved to the Highlands – it felt like coming home. Now, I share my love, fascination and enthusiasm for the dramatic landscape and history of my adopted home with visitors from a’ the airts and pairts of our world.

Nairn has the reputation of being the sunniest and driest place in bonnie Scotland, which is jist perfect for myself. I love basking in the sun, long walks along our beach and chasing the birds until I'm totally knackered. What a glorious life I've got up here! On a dreich day though, this dog is nae goin' oot, that's fir sure, which is something my folks dinnae really understand. There I am, chilling in front of the fire and they start putting my harness on, really? Jings, it's chucking down oot there, cannae ye see? Every now and then, I even get ter join my folks on a walking tour, but they always tell me ter behave and ter be quiet. If you spoke my language, you wouldnae believe the stories I'd tell! I also ken what's underneath the kilt, but you dinnae wanna ken, believe me!
